Fun Snacks for Kids
- Snacks are important mini meals for kids. Getting kids involved in cooking and making healthy snacks means they are more likely to eat and enjoy them. Try these tasty and healthy snack ideas:
- Mini pizzas on English muffins or portabella mushrooms with their favourite toppings.
- Fruit and yogurt popsicles are great any time of the year.
- Sundaes made with vanilla yogurt are fun and healthy – top with coconut, dried or fresh fruit, cinnamon, chocolate chips, nuts and seeds.
- Jazz up a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato, apple or pear slices for added nutrition.
