Cranberries

  • Cranberries are a seasonal favourite and make a colorful and very nutritious addition to meals.
  • They’re especially good when roasted into squash.
  • Simply cut an acorn or butternut squash in half, fill with chopped raw cranberries and seasonings of your choice such as orange marmalade, a little butter, nutmeg or ginger.
  • Bake at 350° F for about 45 minutes at or until tender.
  • Other wonderful ways to add cranberries to meals include as a topper to warm oatmeal, cold cereal and salads or added to muffin or cookie batter.
