Making a Roast
- Although many people have been making delicious roasts for years, not everyone is 100% confident about how to cook a roast. It’s not as complex as it seems.
- Whether beef, pork, chicken or even turkey, put the roast in a large pan. Place in the oven at 350° F and roast for about 20-30 minutes/pound
- Using a meat thermometer is the best way to rest assured it is safely cooked to the desired degree of doneness without being overcooked or dry.
- While it’s roasting, prepare plenty of vegetables for a delicious and healthy meal! The veggies can even be added to the roast for the last 45 minutes of cooking.
