Snack Kebobs
- There are lots of starchy snack items available, but often parents are trying to get their kids to eat more fruit, vegetables or protein. Starch is rarely lacking.
- Instead of coming up with new foods entirely, sometimes changing the way the foods are presented makes them novel.
- Kebobs are a great idea. Some good combinations include:
- Vegetables and small firm tofu cubes
- Fruit and cheese
- Fruit and ham
- Vegetables and beans
- Fruit and small pieces of muffins, brownies or mini marshmallows
- Kebobs make a snack that adults will appreciate too
