Fresh Fruit Mueslix


60 mL Western Family rolled oats 4 tbsp
125 mL skim or 1% milk 1/2 cup
125 mL Source yogurt, any fl avour 1/2 cup
30 mL Western Naturals Organic Honey 2 tbsp
30 mL fresh lemon juice 2 tbsp
2 BC Brand apples, peel on, chopped
500 mL mixed seasonal berries 2 cups
60 mL toasted almonds or hazelnuts, chopped 1/4 cup

1. Warm the milk in a saucepan. Pour the milk into a small bowl and add the uncooked rolled oats. Allow to soak for 15 minutes, then mix in the yogurt, honey and lemon juice.

2. Grate the apples and add to the oat mixture.

3. Fold in berries and chopped nuts. Mix gently. Store in the fridge.

Serves 4.
