Although this recipe is rich, the fat from the avocadoes is a quality, monounsaturated fat. By using low fat cheese and sour cream, you save calories and fat compared to using the regular versions.

Western Grey Cup Seven
Layer Dip

1 398 mL can Western Family refried beans
500 mL low fat sour cream 2 cups
1 package taco seasoning mix
2 avocadoes, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2-3 large tomatoes, chopped
1 398 mL can Western Family medium pitted
black olives, sliced
500 mL low fat cheddar cheese, grated
1 bag Western Classics tortilla chips, any flavor

In a 9" x 11" glass dish, arrange layers as follows:

Layer 1: Refried beans
Layer 2: Mixture of half the sour cream with the taco seasoning
Layer 3: Mixture of remaining sour cream with avocadoes
Layer 4: Chopped green onion
Layer 5: Chopped tomato
Layer 6: Sliced olives
Layer 7: Grated cheese

Use tortilla chips for dipping.
