What devices is the app available for?

The app is available for the Apple iPhone, but may also be viewed on an Apple iPad. There is no cost for the app; it is available to download for free from Apple app store. Data charges may apply from your mobile provider based on your rate plan.

How can I download the app?

Visit the Apple app store to download the app.

Should I use my morerewards.ca web account info to log into the app?

Yes, that’s correct the app will connect to your more rewards.ca account information.

Why can’t I scan my coupons or my More Rewards card at the self checkout from my iphone?

You’ll need to scan your phone at a cashier – they’ll use a special handheld scanner or type your number into the system for you.

How does the app work?

Once you have downloaded the app to your iphone, click on the Save-On-Foods app icon to launch. You will then be asked to “Please select your favourite store”. You may change this at anytime by clicking the “store finder” icon.

With the new app you can browse Save-On-Foods current flyer, view in-store offers, download coupons, create a shopping list, scan/add items, and email your shopping list.

You can also login in to your More Rewards web account and view your points balance.

How do I change my store location?

You can change your store by clicking on the store finder icon.

How do I scan a product to add it to my shopping list?

To scan items to your shopping list, click the “scan to list” button on the home screen.

You can then use the device camera to "scan" a barcode and add the product to your shopping list. This may take a few tries to get used to. You will be able to hover over the barcode and gently move the device until it is successfully read. It is also important to note that the ability to read barcodes is only available on devices that have autofocus functionality on the camera.

Not all products will be accessible to the app. If we can not match a product code you will receive the following message: “We could not match this code with any of our products.”

What is My Card?

My Card is access to your More Rewards online account. Once you sign up for an online account, you can view your More Rewards card balance and More Rewards card number. If you do not have a web account, click on the "Register" button and follow the prompts.
