Cherry and Vanilla Yogurt Popsicles

Cherry and Vanilla Yogurt Popsicles

Cherry Layer:
- 2 cups (230g) pitted fresh cherries
- 1/3 cup (67g) granulated sugar
Vanilla Yogurt Layer:
- 1 container (650g) Western Family Stirred Probiotic Yogurt Vanilla
- 2 pieces fruit leather, stamped out using small maple leaf cutter
Directions
- In a blender, combine cherries and granulated sugar. Blend until smooth.
- Fill 1/4 of each popsicle mold with cherry puree and place in freezer to set for about 2 hours.
- Once cherry layer has set, place a piece of fruit leather on the side of each popsicle mold. Fill each cavity with vanilla yogurt, leaving room for the final cherry layer.
- Place popsicle stick into each mold and transfer to freezer, allowing yogurt layer to set, about 2 hours.
- Fill final cherry layer and return to freezer to freeze overnight.
- To unmold, run the bottoms of the popsicle molds under hot water for about 5 – 10 seconds, then pull out the popsicles.
