Honey Mustard Chicken Kebabs

Ingredients

  • 4 Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, cut into 1 inch (2.5 cm) cubes
  • 1 Red pepper, cut into 1 inch (2.5 cm) squares
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Mustard
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Honey
  • 2 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) Chopped fresh thyme

Directions

PREHEAT BBQ to medium high. THREAD chicken and peppers onto skewers. For every 2-3 pieces of chicken add a piece of pepper. MIX together remaining ingredients in a small bowl. LIGHTLY coat the grill with non-stick cooking spray. Place chicken skewers on the grill and cook for 12-15 minutes, until chicken reaches internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), turning frequently. Brush with honey mustard sauce during the last 3-5 minutes of cooking.
