1 bag of Western Family Signature Jumbo Tiger Prawns
1 bottle of Western Family Seafood Cocktail Sauce
1 package of pea shoots or other fresh herbs
12 skewers/picks
12 shot glasses
Directions
- Fill a saucepan with 2 litres of water and bring the water to the boil. Then add the prawns. Cook with the shell on for more flavour.
- Reduce the heat, cover the pan and simmer the prawns for 3 – 5 minutes.
- The prawns will be cooked when they float to the top and the shells are pink with the flesh having turned white throughout.
- Remove the prawns from the heat immediately and run them under cold water for a few seconds to stop the cooking process.
- Once the prawns have cooled, peel them and skewer each onto a pick.
- Add about 2 tablespoons of the seafood sauce into each shot glass.
- Place the pea shoot or other fresh herb into the glass for garnish.
- Top with the skewered prawn.
