Stuffed Greek Pitas

Ingredients

  • 4 Whole wheat pitas, warmed
  • 1 Whole roasted chicken, skin remove, sliced
  • 3 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 60 mL Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 250 mL Tzatziki sauce (available in the Deli)

Directions

Slice each pita in half. Gently open each half and fill with equal amounts of warm or cold chicken slices, tomatoes, pepper, onions and feta cheese.

Spoon 30 mL tzatziki sauce into each pita half.

Serve immediately.

Cooking Tip

Don’t fear using ready-made or semi-prepped items as a base for your healthy meals. You can still have a homemade meal, but can save time by surrendering some of the prep work.
