Ingredients
1st Layer: Any dressing of your choice, or a combination of olive oil and balsamic vinegar
2nd Layer: Protein like beans, lentils, hard boiled egg or shredded chicken
3rd Layer: Grain like cooked quinoa, barley or rice
4th Layer: 1 handful chopped veggies such as carrots, red peppers, zucchini, celery, corn, cherry tomatoes
5th Layer: Optional - a sprinkle of cheese
6th Layer: 1 handful greens
Directions
  1. Chop (or buy pre-chopped) veggies, and cook any protein or grains.
  2. Follow layering instructions in each jar that are listed under ingredients.
  3. When ready to eat, shake up the jar, open and pour into a bowl or plate, and enjoy.
  4. Stow closed jars in the fridge until ready to eat.

Tip: Pre-prepare 3-4 salads in jars at once to have quick lunches to grab through your week
