Burger Patty: makes 6
- 2 lb ground beef
- ½ cup Western Family Panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Western Family garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Western Family onion powder
- ½ teaspoon Western Family black pepper
Berry-Balsamic Sauce:
- 1 cup mixed berries (such as raspberries, strawberries, or blackberries)
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Assembly:
- Brioche Buns
- Western Family - Bacon - Thick Sliced, 375 Gram
- Western Family - Baby Arugula Salad, 142 Gram
- Western Family - Natural Cheese Slices, Havarti, 220 Gram
Directions:
- Make Berry Balsamic Sauce
In a small saucepan, combine the mixed berries, balsamic vinegar, and honey.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the berries break down and the mixture thickens, about 8-10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and set aside. - Make the Burger Patty
Make the Burger patty by combining all ingredients in a large bowl. Form 6 patties and push down on the centre so they lay flat.
Heat BBQ to 375 to 400 degrees F
BBQ burger patties around 3-5 minutes per side
When burger is almost done place cheese slices to melt - Assemble Burger
Add cooked bacon, burger patty and top with sauce and baby arugula and enjoy.
