Ingredients
1–1.5 lbs sockeye salmon
1 tbsp olive oil
½ cup Only Goodness Sweet Chili Sauce
Juice of 1 lime
Zest of 1 lime
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp of Western Family Honey
Sesame seeds
Thinly sliced green onions
Lime wedges
Directions

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon dry and cut into evenly sized bite-sized pieces. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Add salmon pieces and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, soy sauce, and honey.
  4. Reduce heat to low. Pour about ¾ of the sauce over the salmon and gently toss.
Cook for an additional 2 minutes, until the sauce thickens and becomes sticky.
  5. Thread salmon onto toothpicks or serve as is.
Garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and fresh lime wedges.

Air Fryer Option

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F
  2. Lightly coat salmon with oil and season
  3. Air fry for 7–9 minutes, shaking halfway
  4. Toss with sauce after cooking and let it thicken in a pan or serve as is

Notes

  • You’ll know the salmon is ready when it flakes easily and has a slightly caramelized exterior.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan—this helps get a nice sear.
