Ingredients
1 cup large flake oats
1 cup milk of choice (cow’s milk will have a higher protein content)
Splash of vanilla extract
Dash of cinnamon (or apple pie spice)
2/3 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1 apple, diced
4 tbsp. toasted pecans
Directions

1.     To a medium bowl, add oats, milk, vanilla and cinnamon, mix to combine and separate into 2 reusable jars. Tightly secure jars with lids and store in the fridge overnight to set

2.     To another bowl, add diced apples, cinnamon, vanilla extract and pecans, mix to combine. Store in the fridge until you are ready to assemble

3.     The next morning, top overnight oats with 1/3 cup yogurt and ½ of the apple topping, mix and enjoy

4. Overnight oats can be stored in the fridge for 1-3 days.

 

NOTE: If oats absorb majority of the liquid, add a splash of milk and mix before topping with yogurt and apple mixture
