Ingredients
1 bag (650 g) McCain Superfries
2 tbsp canola oil
1/2 cup onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 lb ground beef
1 tsp kosher salt
1 package (35 g) Western Family taco seasoning
1 - 1/2 cups frozen corn
2 cups Western Family Tex Mex shredded cheese blend
2 tbsp sour cream
2 tbsp Western Family mild salsa
2 tbsp green onions, chopped
1 tbsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven and cook Superfries 15-20 minutes according to package instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat a medium skillet over medium heat and add canola oil. Sauté onions for about 5 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add ground beef and salt and cook through. Add taco seasoning and corn. Cook for 7 minutes.
  3. Once the fries are cooked, place them on an ovenproof serving dish. Turn the oven to broil. Top fries with ground beef mixture and shredded cheese. Broil for 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  4. Serve topped with sour cream, salsa, green onions and fresh cilantro.

Tip: You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
