Ingredients
2 tablespoons (30 milliliters) olive oil
3 teaspoons (15 milliliters) Dill Pickle Flavoured Seasoning
2 cups (500 milliliters) shredded mozzarella cheese
1 prepared pizza crust (12-inch/30-cm)
5 slices cooked bacon , chopped (about 1/2 cup/125 ml)
1/3 cup (80 milliliters) thinly sliced red onion
Directions

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons (30 milliliters) olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons (15 milliliters) Dill Pickle Flavoured Seasoning , divided
  • 2 cups (500 milliliters) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 prepared pizza crust (12-inch/30-cm)
  • 5 slices cooked bacon , chopped (about 1/2 cup/125 ml)
  • 1/3 cup (80 milliliters) thinly sliced red onion

Instructions

  1. Mix oil and 1 teaspoon of the Seasoning in a small bowl; set aside. Mix cheese with remaining 2 teaspoons (10 ml) Seasoning and set aside.

  2. Place crust, top-down, on grill. Close grill. Grill over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes or until grill marks appear. Carefully flip crust over using tongs or spatula.

  3. Brush crust with seasoned oil. Sprinkle evenly with cheese, bacon and red onion. Close grill. Grill 3 to 4 minutes longer or until cheese is melted and crust is browned. (Check pizza often to avoid burning. Rotate pizza, if necessary.) Transfer pizza to baking sheet or clean cutting board. Slice and serve immediately.

    • To Bake Pizza in Oven: Bake assembled pizza on baking sheet or middle rack in preheated 425°F (218°C) oven 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

    • To use Fresh Pizza Dough: You will need 1-pound (500 grams) fresh pizza dough or frozen dough, thawed. Stretch or roll dough on lightly floured baking sheet into a 12- to 14-inch (30- to 35-cm) circle, about 1/4-inch (1/2-cm) thick. Brush top of dough with 1 tablespoon (15 ml) oil. Place top-side-down on the grill. Close grill. Grill over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes or just until grill marks appear. Carefully flip crust over using tongs or a large spatula. Continue as directed.
