Directions

Ingredients

• 4 cups Green Cabbage, finely shredded

• 1 cup Carrots, shredded

• 1 Gala apple, thinly sliced

• 1/3 cup Western Family Dried Mixed Berries

• 1/4 cup Western Family Natural Sliced Almonds

• 1/2 cup Western Family Mayonnaise

• 1 tbsp Lemon juice, freshly squeezed

• 1 tbsp Western Family Apple Cider Vinegar

• 1 to 2 tbsp Western Family 100% Pure Maple Syrup

• Salt and pepper to taste

 

 

Direction

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine the Green Cabbage, Carrots, sliced Gala apple, Dried Mixed Berries and Sliced Almonds.

  2. In a separate bowl whisk together the Western Family Mayonnaise, Lemon juice, Apple Cider Vinegar and Maple Syrup until smooth and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss gently until everything is evenly coated. Let the salad sit for 5 to 10 minutes to allow the flavours to develop.
