Penne Pasta
Marinara Sauce

Directions
Ingredients:
- 4 BBQ burger patties, crumbled
- 16 ounces penne pasta
- 1 25 ounce jar marinara sauce
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheese, mozzarella or your favourite cheese
- Fresh parsley, for garnish, optional
Directions:
Slow Cooker Pulled Pork:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water for later.
- Transfer pasta to a 9x13 baking dish.
- In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, heat olive oil.
- Add onions, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until onions are soft and translucent.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant, 1 minute.
- Add crumbled burgers and heat for a few minutes until heated through.
- Stir in marinara sauce, then transfer mixture on top of the pasta and toss gently to combine.
- Add reserved pasta water until the sauce looks glossy.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and bake until the cheese is lightly golden, about 15 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
- Enjoy!
