Nashville Honey Hot Roasted Chicken

1 chicken
Worcestershire 2 tbsp
Cayenne pepper ¼ cup
Garlic powder 2tbsp
Brown sugar 1.5 tbsp
Salt 1tbsp
Mustard powder 2tsp
Onion powder 2tsp
Smoked paprika 2tsp
Clarified butter ½ cup
Nashville spice ¼ cup
Honey 1 cup
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°f
- Ensure you truss your bird if it didn’t come already done.
- Rub Worcestershire over the surface of the chicken ensuring even coverage over the bird, this adds awesome flavour and helps the dry rub adhere to the chicken and helps to tenderize the meat.
- Sprinkle the Nashville spice mix all over the chicken, don’t forget to get under those wings.
- Place your bird on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in your oven for about 45 minutes before basting with its juices. Let your chicken cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°f.
