Ingredients
Western Family Cooked Pacific White Prawns, 350g package (defrosted, tails removed)
2 tbsp red onion, finely chopped
2 large lemons, juiced
1 cup parsley, finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste (start with ¼ tsp of each)
Western Family Signature Crab Dip, 500g
30 mini phyllo shells (cooked according to package directions)
Directions
  1. Preheat oven and cook crab dip according to package instructions.
  2. Cook phyllo shells according to package instructions, allow to cool and set aside.
  3. While the crab dip is cooking, defrost the prawns in cold water, remove the tails and chop into mini bite sized pieces.
  4. In a bowl, combine chopped prawns, salt and pepper and lemon juice. Set aside for at least 20 minutes to marinate.
  5. Once crab dip is almost cooked. Add onions and parsley to the bowl with the prawn mixture and mix.
  6. Just before serving, fill phyllo cups with crab dip, top with prawn mixture and enjoy fresh!

 

Substitutes: If pre-made phyllo cups are unavailable, they can be made using phyllo dough.

Tips: This recipe uses cooked prawns. If you are using uncooked, please cook prawns according to package instructions before using in this recipe
