Try this simple recipe for your next gathering. This delicious appetizer made with Western Family crab dip and prawns packed in phyllo cups is a crunchy and refreshing treat that everyone will love.

Western Family Cooked Pacific White Prawns, 350g package (defrosted, tails removed)
2 tbsp red onion, finely chopped
2 large lemons, juiced
1 cup parsley, finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste (start with ¼ tsp of each)
Western Family Signature Crab Dip, 500g
30 mini phyllo shells (cooked according to package directions)
Directions
- Preheat oven and cook crab dip according to package instructions.
- Cook phyllo shells according to package instructions, allow to cool and set aside.
- While the crab dip is cooking, defrost the prawns in cold water, remove the tails and chop into mini bite sized pieces.
- In a bowl, combine chopped prawns, salt and pepper and lemon juice. Set aside for at least 20 minutes to marinate.
- Once crab dip is almost cooked. Add onions and parsley to the bowl with the prawn mixture and mix.
- Just before serving, fill phyllo cups with crab dip, top with prawn mixture and enjoy fresh!
Substitutes: If pre-made phyllo cups are unavailable, they can be made using phyllo dough.
