Ingredients
1 cup of rice, cooked
1 block of tofu, cubed
4 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tbsp of rice vinegar
2 tbsp of maple syrup
Toasted sesame seeds for garnish
Cucumber
Grated carrots
Green onions
Avocado
Directions
  1. Cook your rice according to the package directions.
  2. Pat dry your tofu with paper towel and cut into cubes.
  3. Add the cubed tofu into a large bowl along with the soy sauce, rice vinegar and maple syrup. Toss to combine.
  4. Transfer to a pan and simmer on medium heat for about 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens and is sticky enough to coat the tofu.
  5. Once the tofu is ready, add a few spoonfuls of cooked rice to a bowl and top with the veggies of your choice and the tofu.
  6. Garnish with some green onion and toasted sesame seeds and serve!
