Baked Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients
3 lbs Broccoli
1/4 cup (60 mL) Unsalted butter, melted
1 box of Snack crackers
2 cups (500 mL) Western Family cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cans of Western Family cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup (125 mL) Western Family Mayonnaise
2 tbsp (30 mL) Milk
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F.
  2. Butter the casserole dish and set aside.
  3. Partially steam the broccoli on the stove in a medium pot. Set aside for now.
  4. Crush the crackers and layer the bottom of the casserole dish lightly with half the Ritz cracker crumbs.
  5. Place half of the partially steamed broccoli on top of the Ritz cracker crumbs.
  6. Mix the 2 cans of mushroom soup with mayonnaise and milk.
  7. Then pour the mixture over the first layer in the casserole dish.
  8. Grate the cheddar cheese over top.
  9. Sprinkle with Ritz cracker crumbs.
  10. Pour the melted butter over the layers.
  11. Add the remaining steamed broccoli and another layer of Ritz cracker crumbs.
  12. Pour the remainder of the soup mixture.
  13. Top with some extra cheddar cheese.
  14. Bake the casserole for 30-40 minutes.
  15. Remove from oven and serve.
