2.5 lbs pork shoulder (pork butt)
1 ½ cups CattleBoyZ Original BBQ Sauce (divided)
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ cup chicken broth
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
12 slider buns
1 cup coleslaw (optional)

  • 2.5 lbs pork shoulder (pork butt)
  • 1 ½ cups CattleBoyZ Original BBQ Sauce (divided) (00628039102030)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup coleslaw (optional)

 

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  2. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the pork shoulder.

  3. Place pork in a slow cooker and add chicken broth and apple cider vinegar.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours, until pork is fork-tender.

  5. Remove pork and shred using two forks.

  6. Return shredded pork to the slow cooker and stir in 1 cup BBQ sauce.

  7. Cook for an additional 15–20 minutes to absorb flavor.

  8. Lightly toast slider buns if desired.

  9. Spoon pulled pork onto buns, top with coleslaw if using, and drizzle with remaining BBQ sauce.

  10. Serve warm and enjoy.
